and on the 6th Day of Christmas...

I pride myself in that smelling good is one of my things. I always wear some fragrance every day. No matter if I am going out to work, on a date or just to the local corner store, I will not leave the house without a spritz or 2 of one of my many fragrances.

This year, I discovered the Hugo Boss range, all thanks to my dear friend Liz Ferrett, better known as The Fragrance Queen when she introduced me to the brand earlier this year. I have been in love with it since then. 

The men's perfume from HUGO is an enlivening fragrance, distinguished by the power of its fragrance blend of lavender, sage & geranium, combined with aromatic cedar wood & fir resin providing it with that undeniably masculine character. The top note is based on Green Apples giving the fragrance its fresh potency. Perfect for the man who lives his life according to his own rules. 

Perfectly paired with the women's fragrance from HUGO, which is energising, yet feminine simultaneously. The blend of refreshing black tea with a bouquet of delicate flowers & irresistible fruity scent of boysenberries with a hint of red Himalayan grasses. Guarantees an adventurous freshness. Perfect for the modern, self-determined woman, with its many facets.

Exactly why it is under my Christmas Tree this year. (And also in my cupboard, I spritzed myself with my HUGO Boss Extreme this morning after my morning run on the beach and now I am ready for the day.)

Ryan Keys - 

Pinotage Oud Eu de Parfum.


So a while back I had heard that designer, Ryan Keys from Keys Fashion would be launching his very own fragrance. With the opening of the Keys Fashion store at Hyde Park Corner, we were able to sample the very 1st fragrance from Ryan Keys - Pinotage Oud Eu de Parfum. 

A Proudly South African fragrance which is produced and bottled in 100ml bottles has been inspired by South African sweet Pinotage grapes, being the top note. With this, it shares the exotic Oud & Ylang-Ylang. Red berries, vanilla & a touch of spices balances out the fragrance perfectly. This Eau de Parfum has long lasting properties and is most definitely a fragrance of passion and unforgettable moments as Ryan says.

Time to grab your very own 100ml bottle. Retailing at R1500.00 a bottle, you can get your hands on one at either Keys Fashion in Hyde Park Corner or at the Keys Fashion store in Parkhurst, Johannesburg.

I am super excited to share that I am the owner of the very 1st bottle of Ryan Keys - Pinotage Oud Eau de Parfum that has been sold and it is now nestled safely under my Christmas Tree.

So every man loves to smell good! I am sure that everyone will agree with me on that.
Stuttafords in Sandton City now boasts what we call a 'Men's Fragrance Bar' where gents are able to explore and experience new 'male only' scents without their sense of smell being tricked by the hundreds of feminine fragrances in the air. (I always hate it when you get a nostril full of some exotic fruity perfume.)
