Top 12 #MissSA2017 Finalists



The Top 12 Miss SA finalists have been announced... (finally)
The ladies will be competing to wear the prestigious crown at the Sun City Superbowl on Sunday 26 March. Miss SA 2017 will receive R1-Million in cash from sponsors Sun International & Cell C and a bouquet of prizes, which now has elevated the competition to one of the richest pageants in the world.

You can catch all the action of the Miss SA 2017 grand finale love on M-Net & Mzansi Magic when it will be broadcast LIVE on 26 March from Sun City Superbowl.

Finalists come from three of the country’s nine provinces: 8 from Gauteng with 2 from Western Cape and Kwa-Zulu Natal. In Gauteng they come from Alexandra, Soweto, Lenasia, Pretoria, Benoni and Krugersdorp. The Western Cape finalists hail from Herold’s Bay and Sedgefield. Kwa-Zulu Natal contestants come from Durban and Mtunzini.

Priyeshka Lutchman - Kwa Zulu Natal

Shanè Naidoo - Gauteng

Shelbe Pretorius - Gauteng

Yuta Raubenheimer - Gauteng

For the 1st time in the history of the Miss SA pageant, members of the public were invited to vote for their favourite #MissSA2017 semi-finalist & propel her into the Top 12.
The winner of the public vote was Pretoria’s Nicole van Niekerk.
 
The second round of public voting opens on midnight on February 2. The public’s SMS votes will have a 25 % weighting of the overall voting towards the winner, with 75 % resting with the official judges.
