Bokeh Fashion Film Festival

The BOKEH is coming to Town...
So for those fashion and film crazed fans, something fantastic and exciting is coming your way in the form of the BOKEH South African Fashion Film Festival up in Johannesburg. Set to take place in the Eurocopter Hangars at the Grand Central Airport in Midrand on the evening of the 4th of September 2014.

Out of the 52 fashion films that were showcased earlier this year down in Cape Town, the 11 winning films are set to be showcased for fashion and film enthusiasts alike for one night only right up here in Johannesburg and thanks to Hisense all the films will be ultra clear on their UHD TV's.

Selvin Govender, Divisional Manager - Product & Marketing for Mercedes-Benz Cars believes that this event compliments Mercedes-Benz customers' fashion choices and lifestyle and is looking forward o bringing this festival to customers in the Gauteng region. 

Adrian Lazarus, MD of BOKEH and Festival Director believes that fashion films are the latest form of communication for all major brands as these films are being shared worldwide on a variety of media platforms. "Welcome to this new world of communication."

Best Make-Up - Immortal Game

Best Art Direction - Arcade by Kirsten Goss

Best Cinematography - Pasos de Sirena by Manuel Portilla

Best Director - Alive by Samuel A. Martin

Best Picture - Urban Hippie by Damien Krisl

The Mercedes-Benz Award - Wanderlust by Ernst Heuser

Now what would a fashion film festival be without some local talented designers to showcase their latest collections. The four designers from Cape Town Fashion Council will each put forth their new trend setting designs.

These names sure are not unknown to any person in the industry and are well known for their creative mind blowing collections.
