Gin & Tonic Festival

#PassTheGin
(that's my thing when it comes to having a good G&T with my friends)

So the next best thing on the market and the latest bandwagon that everyone seems to be getting in on, is gin. Small batch & Artisanal Gin. And what better way for Pretoria to taste, swirl & celebrate the fastest growing spirit category in the world than at the Gin & Tonic Festival.

The festival that will be featuring some of the country's most exciting local gin distilleries as well as some of the more well-known international gin names will be taking place in the Tshwane CBD on Saturday, 5 November at the new and trendy 012 Central Venue.

What better way to enjoy a good G&T than tantalising your taste buds with some artisanal food that has been expertly paired with various of the G&T cocktails whilst taking the opportunity to chat to mixologists and ginsmiths to learn about what goes into making their unique G&T cocktails and to hear more about their "Gin Story."

The Festival kicks off at 11 AM and will be going on all day until 7 PM, with some of the country's top local artists (you can check in with me later to find the line-up, or keep your eye on the Facebook page) with a dedicated music and entertainment stage to keep you entertained. Or you can choose to take a chance in preparing your very own cocktails and even get to see the best barmen in the local industry compete head to head in a mixology competition.

Now we all know that everyone loves getting a Goodie Bag. And guess what. At this event, everyone gets one, which includes a Gin Booklet, a branded Gin & Tonic Festival glass and various promotional material from local distilleries. (There may even be a small surprise in there too.)

Tickets are limited. (And that is always better, I mean, it's not at all pleasant when you are at an event and you need to queue for ages just to get a taste of something. So "small & personal" is what is going to make this day a hit.)
If you are very eager to get your tickets (like you should be), you can get in on the "Early Bird" ticket sales now! Visit Nutickets Now.

Early Bird - R 125.00
Regular - R 155.00
(Which means, you're saving R30.00 which you can use towards catching a Zebra Cab to the event)

If you are still skeptical about it, check out the Gin & Tonic Festival that happened in Joburg earlier this year here.
