#SAFW presents #AW16

So the only thing most people in the fashion scene have been talking about in the past week or so is SA Fashion Week for the Autumn/Winter 2016 collections from some of the best designers in the country that will be taking to the Crowne Plaza in Rosebank from 21 October 2015 - 24 October 2015.

37 designers will be putting forth on the runway this season their collections for key media and buyers alike. But did you know, that this will be the very 1st time for 17 of these designers to be showcasing at #SAFW and introduced this amazing platform.

We are set to see top designers, including; Gert-Johan Coetzee (whose show will be kicking #SAFW off with an invite-only off-site show happening at the Ferrari Showroom in Johannesburg), House of Olè, Ephymol, Keys Fashion, Clive Rundle, Amos Tranque and Touch of Bling amongst many others.

Ryan Keys - Keys Fashion

Ole Ledimo - House of Ole

Thabo Khumalo - Touch Of Bling

Gert Johan Coetzee

Ephraim Molingoane - Ephymol
Amos Tranque
Highlights for this years #AW16 #SAFW is definitely the showcase of the Sunglass Hut New Talent search finalists. These finalists are:
 - pure-moon by Azaria Khoza
 - WITH by Dean Charles Hauptfleisch
 - iamione - Farah Ione Wallet
 - GreerKyle by Greer Kyle Dennison
 - Somerset Jane by Melissa Somerset
 - Mod-Ish by Wardah Safi

I think what I am most excited about is the last day of #SAFW, as it is dedicated to the only Menswear. This is the 3rd consecutive year that we will be seeing this happen. It is here that we will see the launch of the winner of the #SAFW Scouting Menswear Competition into the Creative Fashion Design Industry. The finalists for this are:
 - Ageo by Arnold Phasha
 - Alpha Climax by Cheron Dreyer
 - Rip 'n Sew by Gift Senese
 - Rogue Wear by Henni de Kock
 - INFLUENCE by Tristan Bain Venn

Tickets are available at Computicket. So go get yours today before you miss out on seeing these amazing designers in action in Johannesburg at the Crowne Plaza in Rosebank.
