Who would have thought that you would be able to escape from the city within the city? Nestled in Randburg, is the Fusionista Spa. 

An essentially Eastern style location that will have you feeling relaxed from the moment you sit down to enjoy one of their complimentary beverages upon arrival. I opted for the 'Skin Tonic' which is strawberries, lime & basil & is said to be a treat for your skin...

Choosing from their wide variety of treatments, was probably the most difficult decision for the day.

Head massages.

What really makes this different is that there are various different treatment rooms, each unique in their own way. From wind chimes, to candles & crystals to the outdoor Koi Mist room. Each room offering a very different vibe & a very different feel, so you will be able to find exactly what you are looking for.

So I opted for the Koi Mist room... And this is what you get. 

An outdoor style room, where you get to have your treatment done suspended over a Koi Pond with light mist filling the space up. It is super relaxing to lay there & watch the Koi swimming underneath you whilst enjoying your treatment. 

After all the exam stress that I built up over September & October, I decided it was time for a Deep Tissue Full Body massage. Not for those that struggle with a slight bit of pain, but it is definitely worth it as soon as the therapist is done & you can literally feel the stress & tension move through & out your muscles, leaving you feeling revived.

I can't wait to visit here again. It was such an amazing experience.
