TOMORROWLAND UNITE, THE MIRROR TO TOMORROWLAND

Tickets are officially on sale for the highly anticipated arrival of Tomorrowland UNITE, the mirror to Tomorrowland, presented by 5FM in proud association with WeChat.

Tomorrowland sold out in under 40 minutes, and the announcement of the Tomorrowland UNITE experience has fans, who missed out on tickets, even more excited for this satellite event that’s going to be held on Saturday 23 July 2016 at the TicketPro Dome, Johannesburg.

Music-loving devotees now have the chance to experience the magic of Tomorrowland, with the same world-class theatrical production that has made the festival famous, including a live screening of the international acts.

The 2016 headline acts that will be live streamed include Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Axwell & Ingrosso, Afrojack and Nicky Romero. Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are well known for their electrifying sets and crowd-busting MCing which has propelled them towards party notoriety, scooping the hotly contested Best “Breakthrough Act” award at the 2013 International Dance Music Awards, and back to back Best European DJ’s awards in 2014 and 2016, as well as being two-time winners of Beatport’s Artist of the Year.

“It feels great to perform at Tomorrowland but the feeling that also ten thousands of people are also partying in seven other countries is incredible. We think UNITE can definitely bring a part of Belgium to South Africa!” say the celebrated DJ duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike

Swedish DJ duo Axwell & Ingrosso have become two of the biggest names in electronic dance music, and are two parts of trio Swedish House Mafia. No stranger to the Tomorrowland main stage, Dutch DJ Afrojack is set to ignite the stage with his banging mix of electro, glitch and grime. Nicky Romero tops off this international offering, and is well known for setting the stage ablaze having done numerous performances in SA since 2014. SA get ready as Tomorrowland brings a first-of-its-kind music extravaganza to our shores.

Complimenting the live screening of the international artists, a killer lineup of SA’s best DJs are on the bill to deliver an equally exquisite experience live on the main stage. Timo ODV, Dean Fuel and 5FM DJ’s will form part of the first ever Tomorrowland UNITE lineup in South Africa.
