LALT aka Live Arts Little Theatre

'One may come in as a stranger, but always leaves as a friend!'

The re-launch of an intimate and cosy theatre venue. Live Arts Little Theatre is set to officially open their doors with a ribbon cutting ceremony and concert for some of South Africa's top artists and celebrities at The Terminal Business Park.

Louw Breytenbach started an acting academy and theatre back in 2012 when he decided to renovate an old abandoned restaurant into LALT. Since then, the theatre has played host to more than 150 shows and charity functions alike. Needless to say that countless of the South African artists from all over the country have performed at LALT.

The current acting academy consists of 90 full-time students and Irene's School of Ballet, situated in the theatre building provides training to all aspiring ballerinas from as young as 5 years old. The theatre is also a perfect setting to host birthday parties, ladies teas, art exhibitions and a variety of private functions. To name a few; The Rotary Club, Jabula Dames, Lady Gracious and Miss Deaf South Africa. The new theatre building is a double volume showroom. Consisting of the main theatre, a dance hall, 2 classrooms, a props department and a 'chill-lounge.'

The re-launch is set to take place 24 October 2014 with the dress code set as Glitz & Glam (think Great Gatsby...) and everyone who is to attend will surely be dressed to the nines and dressed to impress!
